Parliamentary Task Force on SDGs Special Committee on Child Rights hosted a panel discussion on Importance of Early Childhood Development on 24th September 2019 at the SDGs Secretariat, with the International ECD Experts and the Parliamentary Task Force Members. This discussion was chaired by Hon. Convener SDGs Task Force, Mr. Riaz Fatyana and moderated by SDGs Task Force Member, Ms. MNA Marriyum Aurangzeb. The main purpose to host this discussion was to develop a better understanding about where we stand with ECD and how to improve the situation. It was concluded that new legislative interventions will give way to protect & promote Early Childhood Development in Pakistan and support achievement of cross-sectoral SDG indicators.
