A Consultation on Child Rights was held in Quetta, hosted by Provincial SDGs Taskforce on November 13, 2019. The meeting shed light on the laws, acts or ordinances that directly or indirectly fall within the four critical child rights foundations – survival, development, participation & Protection. Information was provided on the legislation including education, nutrition, health, gender and protection to the possible extent giving a picture of the child rights legislative compliance with CRC in Pakistan and informed stakeholders to review and amend existing legislation to conform with the CRC.
